The Environmental Surveillance, Education and Research (ESER) program at Idaho National Laboratory (INL) performs a diversity of scope in the areas of environmental surveillance, wildlife and land management, and public education and outreach. The ESER team conducts, manages, and coordinates ecological and environmental research, offsite environmental surveillance for the INL Site.
All sampling is done within INL’s 890-square mile site, under the Department of Energy (DOE), and provide stakeholders the benefit of knowing the long-term trends of samples taken around INL. Integrating the surveillance program, biological programs, and educational programs into INL, will allow for efficiencies within the sampling program and enable the project success.
